Support
Manpo Steps is made by Quantum Digital Plus Pty Ltd, a small studio in Australia. Write to support@manposteps.app and a person answers, usually within a day. Include your iPhone model and iOS version if the question is about the number. Ideas and bug reports can also go through the feedback form, and every version is listed on updates.
Questions
Why is my number different from my iPhone or my Watch?
Each device counts on its own; Apple Health merges both and removes the minutes they overlap. Manpo Steps shows Health's merged total and, when you tap it, the sum behind it. The explainer on why steps differ has the full story.
What does the app read from Health?
Your step count, so the number matches the Health app. The privacy page lists everything it reads and the one thing it writes.
Do I need an Apple Watch?
No. The iPhone counts on its own. With a Watch, Health merges both devices and the app shows that merged number, plus the ring and complications on the wrist.
A widget or complication shows an old number.
Each one shows the time of its reading. iOS refreshes widgets on its own schedule; opening the app refreshes them at once.
How do I cancel Pro or ask for a refund?
Subscriptions are managed in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions. Refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. The once purchase is yours for good and restores on a new phone from the app's settings.
Is Manpo Steps free?
Yes. The honest number, streaks with rest days, widgets, complications, Siri, a live walk and ninety days of history are free. Pro adds every face, a full year of history and a custom rest-day allowance for US$0.99 a week, US$19.99 a year or US$39.99 once, with everything unlocked for the first seven days.
Does it drain the battery?
No. The count comes from the motion chip that runs in every iPhone whether or not any app asks, and the app reads it from Health. Location is used only during a walk you start with distance turned on, and stops when the walk ends.
How do I export or delete my data?
Export everything from the app's settings. To delete it, delete the app: your history lives on your phone and in your own iCloud, nowhere else, so there is no account to close.
