In one sentence

Manpo Steps is the step counter for iPhone and Apple Watch that shows the same number as Apple Health, and the arithmetic behind it.

In one paragraph

Manpo Steps shows the daily total Apple Health has, the time it was read, and the sum that produced it: what the iPhone counted, what the Apple Watch counted, and the overlap Health removed. Streaks survive rest, sick and travel days. Widgets and complications show the time of their reading instead of a stale number pretending to be live. A live walk counts on the Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island and on the wrist. There is no account, no advertising and no analytics; nothing leaves the phone. The honest number is free, and Pro is a week, a year, or once. It is made by Quantum Digital Plus Pty Ltd, a one-person studio in Australia, and named for the manpo-kei, the 1965 Japanese pedometer that gave the world the 10,000-step slogan.
